Each part is produced in our own facility, where we rely on specially developed prepreg as a base material for Ilmberger. This is processed in an elaborate autoclave procedure, which offers numerous advantages.
Prepreg, a pre-impregnated carbon fabric, is characterised by a uniform resin distribution, while maintaining a high fibre volume content. This results in maximum strength and increased flexibility of the components. By processing in the autoclave, a high-pressure oven that works under controlled temperature and pressure conditions, perfect, even curing and a flawless surface finish are ensured. This method prevents air pockets in the material and ensures consistently high quality of the parts.
